I have a 2012 A6 and about 5/6 weeks ago the gear knob became loose (can be twisted either clockwise or anti clockwise by about 15 degrees. Asked Audi to have a look at it when it was in being serviced but they must have forgotten.
I read on another thread for another model that a jubilee clip type object can fix it but I don't know how to unclip the gaitor for fear of breaking a clip / damaging it in one way or another. Does anyone have any experience in this field, I'm sure you'll appreciate its verging on mildly- middlingly annoying.
