So as the title says I ve done some maintenance on the Buses around the school I work for and wanted to see the battery status,among other things found that the dpf is full and has to be cleaned. I be followed the instructions and for 25 minutes the idle went to 2000 and a strong smell of hot metal and fumes came from under.Nothing really visible as I went under the bus but the filter itself trembled and so the exhaust not very wild but enough to see that something goes on. So my post is all about to see what people say about this thing and why you think Vag don t use the same system on their diesel cars so can save me a few grey hair and money?
