Magnetic ride query..

Hi all.
Can anyone tell me if the magnetic ride is standard on 2015 model S3's.
I am picking my car up on Saturday (one they had in stock not one I have spec'd myself)
I have noticed in the brochure it is standard but the salesman says my car does not have it fitted??
When I took it for a test drive I didn't even know it was available so didn't bother asking about it.
What are my options ??
Could anyone get back to me asap..cheers paul

It was only standard on the saloon version, available as an option on hatchback and sportback

To me, MR is not standard on S3.... still today.

(but you need MR if you want 19" wheels on S3, curiously not necessary for A3.. ?)

EDIT: I always forget about saloon/sedan version...

Forgot to mention my car is a saloon version with 19"s.
He told me it was a base model S3 saloon ? defo a 2015 build.
If you look on line on the official Audi website it states it is standard??
I'm really confused
ps how do Icheck if I have it or not?

Our friend says it is standard for saloon, maybe in your country.
I checked, that's not the case in France for instance. Check with online configurator ?

However, given you have 19" wheels, I would assume you have MR.
Cauz on the french configurator, we cannot add 19" without MR for S3 saloon...

Well I'm really confused now it is standard according to build spec.
Why would the salesman tell me otherwise?

Because he has not been trained properly ? it happens sometimes, and to be fair, Audi is a champion with optioning things...

I was similarly confused until I realised that the brochure I was originally given was dated April 2015. In that the MR was a cost option. The online configurator and current on-line brochure (dated October 2015) show it as standard. I'm therefore assuming that the change probably happened for MY 2016 build cars.

In the uk it was definitely standard, when I ordered in October 2014.

I can't believe it would be an old enough build not to be standard as it certainly was in the back half of 2014.

There is a bit of conflicting info on the web relating to when it was first launched, some saying mag ride was a £995 option??.........must admit I thought it had been standard on a UK saloon from day one.

Just picked it up this morning.WOW what a car well 'chuffed'
I can see myself losing my licence lol..
Salesman was a bit embarrassed when he found out it actually had it fitted
I guess you learn something new every day?

The tunnel on the way home unfortunately had contra flow so was unable to get it to 'pop'
