MAF wiring diagram

Any one have any or a link to one.. trying to figure out which wire is for the signal so I can tap in to it for a WMI install.

Internet doesn't seem to throw anything up.

Instructions that came with the wmi kit are quite vague and I reckon they refer to a different maf sensor comapred to what on my S3.

Colours are cavity 1: Yellow wire. Cavity 2: Red wire and Cavity 3: black and purple (i think from memory, would have to double check)

Any help?

Wires are Yellow, Black with a yellow tracer and Brown.
The Yellow wire is the output from the MAF . Brown is earth 0v and Black with the yellow tracer is the supply for the MAF.

I have no brown and instead a red thats wrapped around the yellow. Other wire (forgive me, i cant remember colour) is on its own.

Does this still apply?

The picture on your first post is that your car??. As it seems to have the wire colours as in the diagram above. What year and engine code is your car. The diagram is for a 2007 BHZ car.
