I’ve been having an intermittent power loss problem on my 2012 3.0tdi 245cv, where you can notice a slight power drop and more engine clatter noise in the injectors I guess.
Anyway I unplugged the Maf and the engine has returned to full power, at first I would suspect the Maf but it’s relatively new and on VCDS it’s keeping healthy numbers between actual and specified.
what I do notice though is when unplugged I can hear like an air plunger noise which I guess is the EGR?. looking at VCDS the EGR is 100% shut all the time.
the weird thing is that I had the EGR deleted by software a while back and the car run dreadful so I reversed the delete. Do you think my issue is the EGR not closing properly and when it was deleted it was stuck open ?.
