Lowering stock ride height -- Any drivetrain problems?

Hey all,

Was just wondering if theres been anyone with problems after lowering their S1?
Im looking into lowering my S1 soon but ive heard that it could come with some problems with the axles / CV joints wearing at an incredibly fast rate. Wouldnt mind some advice

Not too sure, dont want anything dramatic. Something safe that looks good.

Lowering on springs will be fine, loads and loads of people running them for many miles. Going real low on coilovers, they tend to throw one of the rear CVs but it's an occupational hazard if you up the power too.
