Just wondering if anyone else tears CV boots all the time after lowering?
I have taken my A4 down by around 45-50mm and seem to tear inner CV boots for fun.
I usually haven't noticed til I have destroyed the CV joint (starts vibrating) and bought 2nd hand driveshafts.
I must have gone through 4 drive-shafts on the front of the car within 12 months!
Im guessing it may be due to the fact the rubber boots dont fancy sitting at a different angle after so many years?
I am removing some dead shafts this week so going to try renewing the CV joint and boot for next time - may hopefully last abit longer.
