Low oil pressure light on and loud noise

Hi

Ive got a 2007 audi a4 avant its the special edition sline all black...was driving home and the low oil pressure warning appeared on the dash...i turned off engine straight away...when I turned it on again the car went into limp mode and sounded louder got less then a mile when the car sounded like a catching noise...slapping noise..pulled over and got car recovered home...ive started int once and the engine sounds like a slapping noise, catching noise...cant tell were its comming from...car is very clean and ive owned it for 5 years with no problems ..is it worth repairing.....

Sounds like cam chain and tensioner. Is it coming from the back?

At first I thought it was it more like a catching sound like its underneeth....i drive it to Brighton and on the way home I kept heating a noise like a bit of plastic trim was loose outside...then as i was a mile from home the light came on..it starts ok then fault shows up..engine sounds louder like air noise
