smoked 10 smokes and started drinking again 10 yrs sober, 1 yr out of date beer 9%,
my car has 2 dents running up the bonnet, bumper scratched , wing completly smashed in cracked headlight and the wing is crushed over the bonnet and cannot open, didnt want to start up either, and to top it all off i spent 1800 euro's on her like in the last 3 weeks,
the woman has damaged 2 houses a very expensive fence and my car and hers is trashed.
i will post pics after the fire and police have gone won't be too long ,
also been speaking to badger on here about booking my car in to get it looked at by a professional , looks unlikely that's going to happen

Yea the wall inside the house has broken away from the main wall and is bowed,
The police said i have to do nothing, as her insurance has to pay everything .I think she will lose her license due to age, on the plus side i get to go to audi to get a quote for the damage which i'm happy about.

Jeez

I think I'd have flipped as I was helping them out of the wreckage, probably more about the damage to the house, but the car too.

Fortunately nobody's physically hurt. I feel your pain.

I was thinking safety mate rather than costs involved to repair!

ah good point, the fire service it seems don't work on the weekend. The police said they were supposed to come and inspect if its safe,
I have got to arrange a builder as soon as possible as the house was creaking and making strange noises this morning

also i'll try get a photo of the driveway the car came out of, as its pretty much parallel to where my car was in the pic. she must of travelled less than 10 meters from parked up to my front door.

Certainly sounds like it's time for her to surrender her license.

hahaa yea they already took it now she is stranded out in the country side now crying still.

does anyone know about driveshafts, i just been to the stealers, they want 900 euros for 4 repair kits or 1050 euro's for 2 driveshafts
which would be the better option, or would it be best buy the cheap shafts off eurocar parts i think 250 each i think.

thanks

also side note, i just been to audi's repair centre , and whilst i was there , a bloke kept telling me come see him before i go, so i did try, and his boss went ape come running out of his office telling me to get out ect.. i told him no, and went an spoke to the guy he said don't bring your car here they will trash it and you''ll need to keep coming back,
he gave me a phone number of an ex body worker, so off i went to them and hopefully they will do a better job
its a fair few grand of damage the audi repair centre said it will be written off, i just said it won't as it was parked up when it happened

istarted drinking again 10 yrs sober, 1 yr out of date beer 9%.

I found this the most disturbing part of the original post. Everything else is replaceable, but if this has caused you to start drinking after ten years of sobriety, then that is a worry. Do you have access to support to help you?

WOW, how fast must she have reversed into your brothers house. You both are lucky.

I agree about the Audi rpices, if they quote for more than a headlight it'd write your car off sadly

x UPDATE x

ZLM and ADMIRAL, have been conspiring against me lol, its gonna cost them alot more now i thinks when i go see my law guy.

admiral are saying i didn't inform them of going abroad for more than 30 days and have cancelled my policy reported me to MID and the dvla for fraud and for not declaring the car SORN. this is going to be the best summer ever. Its strange thou because if thats the case how come they were taking £70/mth out of my bank account in spain ( they pay no tax on it ) and the fact i'd need to ring them to inform them that i was still abroad. They also said ZLM are not paying out as your a criminal basically.

ZLM trying to get out of paying any way they can.
When they came yesterday to inspect the car i made sure me and my car were not around to see them, also i could very well of ended up in jail.

I think every body who is insured with admiral should boycott them as they don't deserve the business, all nice as pie getting you to go with them and taking your money .
and also they are not liable for this accident in Netherlands so i don't know really what there problem is.
I was very upset when they said they are cancelling my cover as they had 650 for the premium , and 3x£70 a month for euro cover.

HAPPY DAYS.

I'm not sure what is going on here? Someone has gone into your car and house, what has YOUR insurance cover got to do with it?

Anyways, it seems you are on top of it all, hope it all works out for you.

woohoo,
i think it has dawned on them that they are liable no matter what the situation is, admiral must have been on a power trip telling me they aren't paying out. ZLM have offered me 40% of the cars value which will just cover getting it sprayed, or i could get just the front sprayed half way up the doors and get a headlight a wing and bonnet.
on a different note what are these body parts made out of i tried to dent the wing earlier and nothing just to see how hard a vandal would have to do the same all managed do was hurt my hand very much .

Surely the other drivers insurance should be paying ALL of your Car & House repair bills? You shouldn't have to claim on your own Insurance.

Admiral\ZLM will be able to claim every penny back from the other persons Ins Co. so why the 40% value limit? I smell a rat.

good call, i am going to contact them later to see what they say, they have valued next doors wall at more than our repair for the house.
also im off out to buy a camera or phone so can take some pictures, the car looks a mess in day light and the house i think will fall down for sure when they manage open the door.

It sounds to me like they think it's you who was doing the driving!

Are you sure the older person hasn't turned the tables on you ...I mean, some of them don't get senile, they get crafty. Again ...it's none of their business what it costs to fix her wall or car! They should only be concerned with the cost of your repairs and should be claiming it all from Her. Don't let them off the hook - make sure you get everything you're entitled to.
