Looking for wingmirror for A3T

Hey all,

I'm a newbie to this forum so please be gentle if I mess up!

Some little vandal scrote bent back and smashed my driver's side wingmirror on my 99 A3TS, the cap and mirror itself are fine, it's just all floppy and won't stay in place without the help of duct tape (attractive!)

I believe it's the top of the steel pivot between the bracket and mirror bit that the top's snapped off so can anyone recommend a good source for a used one (preferably round Leeds or with cheap postage elsewhere!) I dont fancy the stealer's £200+ !

The colour is LZ4W but I can probably re-use the old coloured cap if it's a different colour.

Anyone know if there are any differences in the mirrors fitted to the facelift 2000-2003 models to the ones fitted to my 99S model?

Bear in mind I'm going to transplant the coloured shell off my mirror on to the new one that I get.

Sadly GSF couldnt help, but vagparts did the business for me - sixty quid new including delivery for the mirror minus cap/glass - sorted!
