I'm looking for a constant live feed even with the car off for my wife's 2011 a3 convertible.

Am I correct in saying the cigarette lighter fuse is constantly on even with the car off?

Yeah it is. But you can take fees from fuse box using adapter fuse

Yes, a fuse piggyback would work well. I use two in my car. One for a seat cover and one for a dashcam. Most of the fuses can provide a live feed constant, I found it tricky finding one that wasn't.

My ciggy lighter socket doesn’t work when the ignition key is out, maybe this is because it’s a Facelift version.
