just joined as I’ve decided to go for an RS3 as my next car and currently looking for a 2018 but not having much luck.
Wondering if anyone is planning on selling their car soon or knows of anything not currently advertised on pistonheads. Autotrader or eBay.
I would be happy with a 2017 as long as low miles and mint condition.
Spec wise must have supersport seats, sports pack and comfort pack, sunroof would be a +

Nope all out, both the Nardo and Daytona sold, really wanted the Daytona but missed out by a day.

I had to go and build a car to see what you meant regarding the blade but see now.

Advert doesn’t mention mag ride either, might have to check the build with Audi to see exactly what it had.

It is changeable, the parts are relatively cheap to fit the blade or you can have it painted.. it’s plastic in 3 parts.

A lot of people will say that mag ride makes no difference, to me it is absolutely night and day difference between comfort and dynamic. Dynamic is unbearably hard on a bad road surface. I’ve driven a car with the stock suspension and the ride was decent, it’s a happy medium and isn’t uncomfortable I wouldnt say.

Mine is just what you are looking for  shame I am not selling it yet.

When you say not “yet” any sort of time scale, would this Saturday be any use

I’ve recently sold my Focus RS and having to drive my Impreza daily and it doesn’t like it (not really an everyday car the Impreza)

:tearsofjoy: Saturday, like your style.
I have not had a year yet lol, I love it to bits, though it lives in the garage most of the time.
I cannot sell it yet, I would not know what to buy to replace it with.

If you're willing to stretch to the upper end of what would be considered reasonable for an RS3 sportback both Apex Peformance and Shaks Specialist Cars (SSC) which are within a mile of each other have two very unique individual options.

Apex has this green colour which looks just like Viper Green but apparently it's some other new colour Audi do.

SSC has this very nice Merlin Purple one.

Ahhhhh why you got to go and make me regret not having merlin purple ;) It’s been a huge favourite of mine ever since I had a PFL zone demonstration for a day in that colour, it was an amazing colour!

Green is a bit too much for me but certainly stands out like an RS should.

As I mentioned I’m looking to see if anything is available outwith the usual search sites, seen both and I must admit the green one does appeal to me. And no I’m not looking to spend £50k on a used RS3.

I think an individual colour will always get a large chunk of cash back when it's time to sell, considering RS3's are found in smaller quantities than something like an A45 AMG having an individual colour not only guarantees uniqueness but also cream of the crop status when it's time to move on and will probably get a lot interest. That being said I get not wanting to spend 50k on a used RS3, I think the figure I have in my head for a used option (fully loaded as I want it) would be about 47.

Don’t know the car but that’s quite an unusual spec without either of the trim packages, all the other must haves but the front blade is body coloured and when you have black wheels you need black trims!

Am I missing something, what do you mean by ‘without either of the trim packages’?

You can get either the aluminium or the black styling pack when you spec one up, that one has neither hence the body painted blade in the front bumper.

The alu pack is a bit of a rip off, the only thing extra you get is trim on your rear diffuser and your bumper. With the black pack, you get every trim changed to black whereas the majority come alu anyway all except for 2.

Took me ages to realise that not specify a styling pack actually gave me exactly what I wanted body coloured blades

And it is Viper Green... :icon thumright:

I thought as much, the guy in the video advertising it said "it's an audi individual green that's similar to Viper Green' which I found odd.

Could be prized out of my 310ps S3 at the right price.

You know what I actually thought of you when I saw it, but had it in my head you sold up a while back?

I've been on about it going for some time but actually sold it 2 weeks ago... :icon thumright:

MPG isn’t really a factor when I buy cars, I work for an oil company and need to keep in a job :friendly wink:

How can the viper have manufacturer warranty when it’s been mapped? They obviously know that but bending the truth, disgusting.
