Looking at buying an S3

Hello,

I live in the land of Aus, and I'm considering purchasing an 03 S3. The car I'm looking at currently it has a boost leak as one of the intake pipes is cracked. It has a report from the last service stating that. Can anyone recommend a silicone hose kit that would be good to replace the intake hoses?

The one I'm looking at had an engine swap due to it breaking a timing belt. The current motor has done about 25k km since, had a 100k km service before it went in, timing belt, tensionor, water pump, and he has all the receipts.

I'm pretty excited, as I've had a Nissan Patrol for 10 years, very not stock, so this'll be something completely differant

Nah mine was an off-road beast. Not quite as beast like as I wanted, as uni slowed down the mod process.

I did think of doing something like that at one point.

What sort of money do they fetch over there?

from what I was seeing between 8-10k. Perth has a weird car market, cos it's not so easy to go interstate to get one and drive it back. In the eastern states it was thatish price for an 8p 2L TSFI quattro 5 door. can't remember if they were actual s3's though
