Looking a particular A3 thread..

Hi guys,

I'm going to be creating a wanted ad for an A3 soon.. Good fair few months ago i remember a thread that listed all the types of A3's, including facelifts, think Boydie created it.

Been searching for ages but cant find it.

Anyone know what thread im talking about? Thanks.

I'm looking for a certain shape of the A3.

To be honest, it's your shape i.e. the model that didn't come with the LED headlights.

Not sure if that makes sense?

2003/04 early 05 were the twin grill

Mid late 05 were the single grills but the s-line didnt have the splitter lip on the front bumper

06-08 had the smooth rear bumper, splittered s-line front bumper

late 08-now is the current facelift

So, i'm after an A3 8P2 (2005-June 2008).

Noticed not a lot of people visit the wanted ads, would the moderators have a problem if i created an ad here??

Well it's against the rules to be honest mate but I'm not sure you'd have much luck anyway as most car trading is done on Pistonheads from what I can tell.
