I've never understood convertible models of cars not designed as convertible from the outset.
Sports cars yes, family cars no !

Re MX5 .. Shame it's Japanese with OTT styling but as they go not a bad car. Shame MG ******** about with the MG Midget in 1975, if they had developed a basically OK product a modern version would sell like hot cakes. 1275 engine RWD good looker.
