i have been monitoring these since purchasing the vehicle, they have risen slightly from 3.0 to now sitting at 6.2 after approx 1300 miles. some petrol smell on startup.

s3 '01 AMK, no boost/vac leaks as far as i know, has been smoke tested.
temp sensor replaced,
stat replaced,
DV replaced with oem,
running vpower.

is this something to worry about? what should i be looking at next to try and sort this please?

cheers,

nobby

adding fuel.. so additional air being sucked through is a possibility for O2 adaption to want to add some, or maf under reading which will also lead to O2 correction..

etc etc

it was indeed, fitted maf, reset trims and sitting on -0.8 after ~500 miles. i guess no point worrying about 0.8?

I always try to put something back if I get some help. Nothing worse than searching to find lots of people with the same problem and no solution...

to be honest the s3 is the first vehicle i have enjoyed sorting.

probably something to do with testing it afterwards :p
