I pointed out to the leasing company that on my original order, I paid extra for tech pack, bigger alloys and privacy glass so expected these to be honoured. No response yet..

Hopefully some really good deals will come up as we approach September, a pre-reg car or "in stock" cars... I'm going to jump on one of those if I see one I want.

According to that spreadsheet someone shared above, my 2.0TFSI Black Edition is down for a BW41 (Early October?)

Yet I was informed by my dealer on Friday that I'm still on track for a 28th September delivery!

    I feel like someone's telling fibs... :)

    Yeah, that sounds sensible.

We can only go off what we are being told but I feel all that has given us is more doubt xD. I really hope you get yours for September.

Through my current lease company. The A4 is going to cost me about £340/month the 320 £346

I’ve looked at other cars. I wanted to love the Octavia and superb but were just too plain.

Have done just that, thanks. Its very frustrating that dealers don't really seem to know what's going on.

Also I noticed that spreadsheet refers to MY19, which I presume is a 68 plate here in the UK. I think it's already been discussed on these pages but aren't all MY19s supposed to be facelifts or was that confirmed not to be the case?

My order was placed at the end of April (A4 2.o TDI 190 S-Line Ultra, S-Tronic). And here is the latest update from the dealer.....

"I have checked your order on the Audi order system and your order is on there but currently without a build week. This is due to the model year change as Audi are changing over to model year 19. This means you should be allocated the latest 19 year model but as your order is already been accepted the price will be protected for you.

We have not received any information currently on the new models or been advised of any engine changes. Should anything significant change on your order due to the different model year then once allocated a build slot Audi will notify us of the changes and we in turn will notify you but at this stage we are not aware of any significant changes.

With regards to the delivery date I would say a September delivery is unlikely at this time although it was at the time we placed the order. I would think delivery would be around October / November time.

Apologies for any inconvenience caused by the delays caused by the model year change and Audi stopping production early of the year 18 models but I hope your new vehicle will be worth the wait when it arrives."

No mention of the WLTP fiasco.........

Nick, start of production for 190 TDI S tronic is week 40, which is first week in October. So your dealer is probably correct, if your order is near the front of the queue....

After my order in Feb, I am still non the wiser, my order is through my company car scheme so they out source, but based on the information from here, mine looks like a build week 03! I could order something else from my list, but I could really do with knowing if the emissions are going to change. Jaguar XE was on my list and the C02 on those has changed from 99 to 126, so this affect my BIK quite a lot Audi still seems to be decent. I do however currently have a 67 plate A4 sline avant 190 as a temp car so cant really complain

I had two temporary cars, one q3 the other an a4, when my a3 order was delayed without asking. However I would always ask for one now if one wasn't offered...

    I have an a4 2.0 tfsi black edition on order and the below is what my dealer has told me;

The build week reserved for re commencement of the vehicle is at the start of November so we may be lucky to be one of the first ones and have the vehicle by the end of November also.

ust wanted to keep you in the loop, I have been checking every day I’ve been in to see if a build week has been released on our system and I still have nothing.

Unfortunately this is the biggest update that I can give you right now. The one nice thing is that if they get delayed much more I am assuming Audi will build it with the new specification in mind and reserve the price we have already agreed with yourself which of course would be a nice sweetener to an otherwise bitter wait.

Its just annoying waiting and not really getting any further information. I have seen the really useful information posted on here and its has been good to hear something!

Out of interest does anyone know what the new S-Line wheels will look like? (i'm quite particular about wheels, but don't really want to pay extra)

The way my car scheme works, is that I can specify any options I want on the car, but I have to pay for those options myself upfront, which I will never get any of the money back for so a strong base specification is what made me choose the A4 in the first place.

Keep checking the German Audi website - their config tool will be updated with the MY19 cars before the UK one. Should be able to find the wheels that way.

It sounds a bit churlish, but one of the main reasons I don't want to end up getting a facelift is the facelifted 2.0TFSI will have those stupid rectangular exhaust vents rather than two pipes. Can't stand them!

I dont normally like the integrated pipes but we were due a 1.4 and i hated the single pipe. At least the rear will look symetrical now with us getting a 2.0. Im with you on your point though - much prefer two proper pipes than the two integrated

I’ve pressed Audi UK for an update on my order. At first they gave me the generic answer above not offering any explanation.
I let them know there were a large number of customers starting to look else where due to the lack of information being provided.
They’ve then stated that I’m in a backlog of orders and build weeks is mid December.
Massively annoying as that will mean an additional service to fork out for on my current car.

    My order (April 23rd for an A4 2.o TDI 190 S-Line Ultra, S-Tronic).

As of yesterday, the estimated delivery date has shifted from mid October to the 14th December..... No other information available and this remains only an estimate. No further explanation from Audi.

Customer service has been shocking. No apologies or even an attempt at empathy.
I asked about compo or added extras (don’t ask don’t get) got told I’m getting a bigger engine!
told them the engine was the same and was told that if I was unhappy take it up with the dealer (who can’t do anything)

I had a 23/7/18 build date which i believe is build week 30. But apparently that is incorrect and my car will be the MY19 model. Leasing company has said the price will stay the same as the the order has been locked at factory. Advised looking at oct/november delivery....

I thought leasing a car was going to be the 'easy' option. Oh how wrong I was.

    Never known anything like it.

Sign up to a good deal and the car gets delayed and delayed.

Find other good deals which are 'in stock' and they dont have any.

I might get my mountain bike tyres pumped up.

Not sure if anyone has had the same feedback as me although I have been reading through all comments made in the last fortnight but I’ve been trying to sort a factory order direct with an Audi dealership for an A4 Avant Black Edition 2.0TDI 150....

Firstly I’m told about the WLTP issue and that all cars delivered after the 1st September cannot be taxed until all models have been tested and as a result stock vehicles were drying up across their network.

Second I’m given the exciting news of a possible MY19 with the Sport model having the S-Line trim as standard and leather/alcantara heated seats and folding wing mirrors. Nice!

Thirdly the engines: 1.4 TFSI won’t be an option on MY19 and the only 2.0TDI models will be S-Tronic with an expected delivery date of now Feb/Mar 19 and Manual 2.0TDI being late 2019?!?

The whole thing is a mess, I’m tempted to hold off and extend my current contract so Audi/Government/whoever have time to remove their heads from their butts!

The whole thing is a disgrace when you look at how far ahead Volvo Merc BMW and Jag are in comparison. For a so called premium brand the lack of communication is terrible.

So the new Q3 was announced yesterday and the order books open late Oct start of Nov. Wife likes it more than the A4 so most likely keep the A4 on order but then when the Q3 opens up see what lease deals are around and if they are in the same ballpark. Let's face it delivery is unlikely to be much longer than the A4 anyway!

This why I am suprised that audi have stuck with more or less the same exterior and interior design with the a4 facelift. The 2019 A3 will probably be similar to the new Q3 so that leaves the A4 more or less the elder statesman of design and will look dated compared to it's main rivals..

Wasn't that the case with the B8/B8.5 too though? My Mum's '13 A4 had a really dated looking interior compared to my '63 A3. My perception was Audi seem to use the A4 and A8 as the springboards for most new technology/designs, with the rest of the range following suit.

The mid-run facelift to me is more about doing the bare minimum to keep the design relevant.
