As per the title line, car is a Febuary 2011 reg'd S4 with manual gearbox with under 15K miles. When opening the drivers door and/or inserting the key, there is no fuel system priming noises - is this normal or do Audi have quiet fuel pumps. My wife's Polo primes when the drivers door is opened and my previous door, a petrol engine V6 2.8 Passat primed fuel system as soon as the ignition was switched on.

Consequently, or for another reason, the car cranks for longer than I would expect when starting from cold, especially so recently or does not mean in winter weather.

Does anyone else's S4 B8 take longer than they would expect to start? Thanks.
