    It’s fully embedded in the car and not designed to be accessed easily I believe. Which is why it’s not advertised as to its position.

    @Daggerit Thank you so much.

    Pothole, big, then this yellow warning.

    Makes sense to be some SIM slight dislocation.

    Today no issues, but I'd like to slide it out and in again.

    No pun intended of course. Screen Shot 2018-10-10 at 18.06.26.jpg

    That’s alright. I could be wrong but I’m pretty sure it’s in a relatively hidden place so is consumers don’t mess with it. Probably best to pop it in to get checked over.

    Is it a physical sim though? I've seen some reference to it being an embedded sim so not a separate card

    Good question, maybe Master @cuke2u can chime in?

    I'm due to the 2 years service in about 10 days.

    I believe, from pictures of the mmi, that the connect sim is internally located within the glovebox unit. However, if the car has sos, there might be another sim dedicated for that purpose only as it does not require the connect services. Although the sos system provides the extended myaudi remote services which links the data stored within the remote key to the app. Which I believe your error message is referring to.

    Thank you @cuke2u & @silo24.

    I've just arrived from a 200km trip and the warning appeared about a dozen times, so the issue is there.

    If MMF2 embedded, the fault isn't a "loose" SIM connection.

    I'll keep you posted.

    Definitely an eSIM. physical SIM slot in the glovebox is for your own datasim that you can use in its place or for WiFi mobile hotspot.
