I'd say pretty cool, especially when I outran a Vauxhall Monaro (bloke looked gutted, especially as I had a surfboard on the roof!)

Oh, and mine's for sale in case anyone thinks they're so cool they need one, on eBay...

I wouldn't go as far as obscenely quick, but it's certainly got some go, a friend bought one a while back, I went with him to drive and look at it and then to pick it up, was nice. On the ad, you claim the power is 280.. but on that age of car I thought it was 256..?? although being the manual version it wouldn't suprise me if it was 280 - i know for sure they detuned it slightly for the auto box to 256. all immaterial really i suppose, looks nice in the pics fella i've always liked these.. good luck selling... if only i needed a second car big enough to transport my numerous drum kits more easily... wait i do need that. but, unforuntately due to it being an import my insurance will sky rocket on that!

yes resonably quick
the GT was 256 bhp
GTB was 280 bhp
all autos 256bhp
i had one for 5yrs
decat and a couple of mods and yes it did see off some expensive so caaled super cars
but they are fragile and the lights are s--te
must admit i got rid because of the fuel consumption ha ha ha ha
got a EVO6 TME now and if that driven hard the gtb is economical
