LED Sidelight confusion

This is most likely a common problem so hopefully someone can point me in the right direction.. I have put LED 501's in my b7 and at first everything seems fine with no dash board error. However the drivers side flashes after a few seconds and turns off. The confusing part is that normal LED's that throw up the error do not do this.

Will the addition of resistors resolve this and if so what do I use??

I had the exact same issue with the ones I bought, the drivers side blinked 3 times and turned off.
I just took them out and put the originals back in.

Do you have a picture with these fitted?
The ones I bought from ebay the first time didn't really output much light, I was quite disappointed.

I brought these

XENON WHITE 9 LED SIDELIGHT BULBS CANBUS ERROR FREE W5W...

They are really really bright and love the look they give the car. Unfortunitly they don't seem to last that long as i'm on second pair after the first ones fell apart in my headlight. I got another pairs sent free of charge and they started to fall apart last night!

I'm now saving up for some new lights with DRL.
