Led number plate lights.

Bought some metal led number plate lights off ebay, along with resistors. Fitted the drivers side with 1 resistor, boom no dash light. Fit the passenger side and i get a dash light so i looked at a guide telling me to fit 2 resistors to each one. Did the passenger side first, still a dash light.. Did the drivers side and i still have a dash light? this is the guide i followed. Anyone shed any light? Pun intended.

I fitted some Ebay resistors for the number plate light, they didn't cancel the bulb failure either. Bought t8ups loom and easy plug in, worked straight away.
