I have some led footwell lamps but would like to replace with some brighter ones can anyone recommend a good supplier ?

Also would light to replace the map lights but can't figure out how to remove to access them, could anyone advise?

I've made my footwell ones out of the ordinary led strip I had lying around and they preform fine.
As for the map lights, they 501's which you clip out, like all of the door warning or puddle ones.

Cheers will look into that.
How do you access the 501's ?

I think the connector to the light for the driver side one is on the right hand side. Passenger side will be mirrored, so you'll need to pry them out from the opposite sides as the connectors.
Flat screwdriver or blade should help.

If you get one sided led's with 501 plug it will do the job.
They usually don't throw any errors so you can go for any you like.

It would be ideal to get the matching light as to the dome lights.

Oh, darn. Just realised you were asking for the spot ones in the dome.
Description I gave you above is for the sun visors.
Apologies.

Map/spot bulbs are bayonet BA9s. Push and twist.
They in the main dome.
You have to remove the middle bit first (within the chrome part), next is the chrome frame and last is the main/large bit (would say "the black one" but it's dependant on your interior colour).
This will reveal all the bulbs, microphone and sensors.

Have you changed the main interior bulbs?

Have a look in my threads for the footwell leds upgrade I did.
If you fancy DIY job, you can do them yourself.

Many thanks I will have a look at your threads. The lamps I'm looking to change are the 4 in the middle think they are two different types.

No problem

Yes, they are different.

Map/spot ones covered above and main ones for the interior are 42mm festoon.
You can get them as led filament or with smd leds.
Loads to choose from and non of them should throw out any error.

Is this the centre chrome section that needs to be removed to access ?

Slide a blade in between part 1 and 2 and pry it down. Next part 2, just take it out. Part 3 need to be pry down with blade also.

Attempt prying and access in the spots marked.

Nah, two bulging discs got to me faster. Lol

I've cut the led strip to the length but they bit thicker for the gap between ambient lenses and door card. Have to shave off a bit of door card plastics to make it fit. Than just tapping into the wiring and done.

Once recovered after the op, I'll come back to mods.

Great job also.

My leds are slightly on the blueish shade and I can notice it but not that far.

How's your white white?
