Hi guys, noticed a sloshing sound at lunchtime in the car, my rear passenger side footwell is under about an inch of water.

Apart from leaving the window open which I don't think I did, what could've caused this? Could it be coming up from below? Through the door seal?

It's a Seat Leon in disguise! lol

(Majority of those suffer from water intrusion due to dodgy rubber seals around the rear of the doors as there is no where for the water to run and so it just corrodes and leaks through over time)

Might sound daft but check your pop connection for the rear screen wash. They can pop off in winter if your screen wash isn't strong enough to protect from frost

The shape of the floor pan channels water leaking at the front into the rear foot wells.

Common leak points to check:
Heater matrix
pollen filter housing
bonnet release cable grommet
plastic cover in plenum chamber for wiring loom
rear door inner panels
blocked sun roof drains
