Hi all,
I have been on the forum for a while and only got around to doing a project thread.
Its my second car - 1.6 sport Lava Grey A3 from 2004.

She is currently booked in for a front and rear face lift later this month. I have a few plans for the car
including new wheels, coilovers or springs, slight rear tints, and twin exhaust tips to fill the face lift diffuser.
No engine modifications have been done.

The car has broken a few times, having to replace the rear wheel bearings and recently the steering column
and the ecu in the steering wheel. Before the fix it would turn the abs and esp off making the steering very heavy and the car would veer off the to the left.

What i have done so far -
Debadged
S-line gear stick with 'S' sticker
Retro-fitted a leather arm rest
Chrome air vents from later models
MY13 rear tinted lights
Chrome wing mirror caps
Plasti-dipped front grills
Upgraded LED bulbs inside and out
Audi-sport number plate surrounds
Rear S3 roof spoiler

First thing i needed was an arm rest in the car. At first i found a cheap Ebay armrest which was the worst thing i have ever spent money on. This went straight back to the seller and picked up a genuine leather one for £50. The latches were broken so i used double sided velcro to keep the lid closed.
The awful arm rest!

And genuine!

The next things i did was change the gear stick to a more appealing and better to hold Sline one, which i put the S sticker on the gear map.
Around the same time i installed some S3 chrome pedals

[

And then more recently i have carbon wrapped the interior trim including the door trim but having it for a while i might try brushed chrome like in the RS models

On the track at Audi driver international last year - black grills and chrome caps on in this one.
The pictures were taken on the parade laps which were amazing!

My girlfriend surprised me with a rep S3 spoiler which went straight on after some paint. Its not a genuine one so the fitment is a bit dodgy on the let hand side of the car but it does the job fine for now.

so after a while of thinking hard i finally went for the rear light conversion to MY13. The two clusters were from separate people on Ebay but i got them cheap and they tidy up the rear of the car so much and make it look more modern.

Big grill conversion coming up this month!! i went for a honeycomb grill which will be sprayed gloss black with chrome rings. Collected the parts from different ebay sellers, bumper, bonnet and the honeycomb grill is from Malta which gave me a few heart attacks as it kept getting lost in the post! ( the seller forgot to put my house number on it..) I also got a rear Sline diffuser from Ebay which was super cheap. It has the hole for 2 exhaust pipes so that will come in the future aswell either a full system or just double tips put on. Can't wait to see the outcome!

A couple of pictures from a big polish sesh yesterday!

haven't got around to doing the conversion as i moved away for a while so here are a couple of recent pictures
