language issue in mmi

when I turn on the car, I've got a Deutsch language for the interfaces in the MMI. when i go get into the language selection, all i get a list of

???
For every language
any ideas on how to fix or what the issue is

Sounds like some data corruption. Have you tried a reset and/or battery disconnect?
