So I recently replaced my thermostat. Instead of renoving the inlet manifold I moved the alternator out.

I now have a lack of power now I am assuming a boost hose needs tightning or theres damage/split in a hose but if there isn't what other issues could it be?

Ths turbo has been reconditioned too so don't think it's that and there also seems to be a lot more turbo flutter when I let off the gas pedal and change gear.

Assuming it is a petrol fuelled car, you may have a diverter valve with a rubber diaphragm. The rubber can split causing these symptoms to occur.

It is a petrol yes, I pulled the diverter valve off to have a look and all looks okay, no splits I can see?
