Suspension appreciation post -

The construction of another production hall, including a development center and administration offices is a strong commitment to KW automotive’s Headquarters in Fichtenberg (Germany). At KW automotive, the first stages of construction and groundwork operations have already begun with the excavation of 16,000 cubic meters of soil. The building structure is scheduled to start in September. The construction work at KW is expected to be completed by the end of 2023. The owner-operated suspension manufacturer plans to use the new production facility to manufacture more of its electromagnetic proportional valves for semi-active and active coilover suspensions and shock absorbers. In addition, the modern machinery for order-related production will be expanded to provide the company more flexibility than ever before. Today, almost 95 percent of manufacturing is done in-house. The expanded facility will create additional jobs in Fichtenberg. Today, 360 men and women are employed at KW automotive in the Hirschäcker industrial park; worldwide, the KW automotive group is the employer of more than 1,200 people.
