Knackered turbo???

All,

Just taken the MAF hose connection off and found small traces of engine oil on the inside of the hose leading from the air filter/MAF to the turbo

Should I worry??

A3 1.8TQS with a few 'character' issues

personally i wouldnt worry mine were oily so i turned the actuator up!, k04's upgrades on ebay only £300 so its not that much of a problem, just turn the actuator up a few turns and see what happens ;-)

probaly just from the crankcase breather hose that breathes into the top of the air box above the air cleaner which is why mas air flow meters are common faults on the vag engine
