When I bought my car it only had one key, previous owner (before dealer got it) STILL has the other key. Dealer said they would send it to me when they got it but according to them they still have not got it.

Obviously this worries me a bit as he could just come and steal the car? or anything in the car? He only lives 20 miles away...

Is there a way I can de-activate that key or re-code my current key?

Yes you can have that key de-coded at audi dealer.

Cheaper to get it coded else where can get it half price if u don't go to Audi and they still use an audi keys if want a spare while getting it done! I got two keys for £200 and wiped memory of all other keys! Audi wanted 280 for one key! Just a guide that it is cheaper and just as good else where!!

How do they decode it at Audi without in in my possession?

Seeing as the dealer said they would provide the key i would get them to foot the bill for the new key and get it don't at Audi.
Of course you need to take the car to Audi with the key you have to have it taken off the car memory.
