Key fob will not lock or unlock

Ive tried all the above and still cant get the key fob to lock/unlock on the remote control. Ive put a new battery in the remote and bent the tabs.

I tried the 2 key method as I have both keys still. Nothing. The car wont start as I reckon the immobiliser is still on - so the engine just spins over.

I tried clicking remote in the boot and that does nothing.

I followed the instructions in the manual (basically hold unlock and put key in and turn and take out) but didnt work

Any ideas please, could it be a fuse?

I think you have a fault in the ignition switch which will need a specialist to fix

Thx Mike - could it be the reader coil? Not sure if that would stop the remote fobs working though?

I dont know what that coil is.But i have been told that your problems could be the switch
