    Hope you can help?
On the wife’s TT, her key fob battery ran out yesterday (the spare key is also dead, don’t ask).
Per the manual, we used the “emergency” within the key fob to open the door manually.
However the alarm goes off every time we do this.
Any ideas how to avoid this happening?

Also, I assume both keys need to go to Audi to have the batteries replaced?

Are the batteries not standard CR2032 or something?

With regards the alarm I can’t remember exactly but you had to turn the key one way before unlocking? It was something like that on my previous A4 but that’s going back a few years as same happened to me.

However battery I would assume you can still change yourself?

Thanks. We have those batteries and will try. But can’t get key open. Manual says press the two buttons (yellow) but not budging. Also tried the catch (red) without success, must be easier than this?[IMG]

Silly question, but have you tried all three together, as in press the two yellow marked tabs in, then press (or lift) the red and pull?

Managed to get it. It was only lifting the red that was needed but it’s just a really tight fit meaning it’s difficult to remove.
Thankfully we had the required batteries in the house.
Been out to check it works and it does.
Only difference is we need to press the fob twice to open doors rather than once but I assume this is because it’s defaulted to that and we can re-set in the car settings.
Thanks for all the help guys, appreciated.
