Kerbed my alloy! It’s the standard S4 wheel so has a diamond cut face. Do Audi do refurbishments or am I better finding an independent? I was quoted £90 +VAT by an independent.

Don’t think Audi do it themselves, they will probably send it to a specialist / independent as well. I have paid £117 inc VAT per alloy for my S4 so, £108 (incl VAT) seems reasonable, I’d check their exact process just be sure. Would you mind asking me who are the independent?

Looking at their Facebook and google reviews they look good. I’d go with an independent rather than Audi.

Anyone any thoughts on tyre damage? It's just the surface rubber. Of course a garage would say replace. What would MOT tester say?

How much tread left on that tyre, and what kind of motoring are you likely to be doing? If only around town then I would have thought ok but not sure if I would risk a long fast drive...

It's only done 2,000 miles, only collected the car in November Do quite a lot of motorway miles. Reading other forums there seems to be a mixture of opinion but in the interests of mine and others safety I will probably replace. £180 for a Continental Sport Contact 6

RO1 - Audi non-quattro tyre. Can be mounted on any other vehicle.
RO2 - same as above but for Quattro (four wheel). You’d need RO2.

You should be able to pass an MOT. I had much worse a Fiesta and the MOT guy even cut away the flap of rubber and passed it. And that was on a tire that did not have a protective lip of rubber that is meant to take this kind of abuse.

I feel your pain I Kerbed mine a month ago, decided to leave it until next year before a refurb. Also mine has the RS logo in the lacquer meaning I either do 1 and loose the logo, and send my OCD into a spin, or refurb all 4!

Wheelworx is my refurber of choice, lots of positive reviews, and even Audi use them!

Went to ATS, they said they wouldn’t bother replacing the tyre. The rubber is very thick on the sidewalks and there’s no cuts etc.
