Keep on getting static shocks...

Strange one but I keep on getting a static shock every time I get out my S3, doesn't happen on my other cars so I'm blaming the S3...

Any thoughts on what could be causing it and a solution?

Use a pair of marigolds as driving gloves :-D

I get this on my A6 every day when I get back from work sometimes it can be quite harsh! Seems to be depend on what shoes I'm wearing.

If I've got my trainers on I'm fine but I've had two different pairs of work shoes that have done it now. I've resorted to kicking it shut!

Suppose it could be down to my clothing too as I'm also wearing pants and shirt from work. Maybe I'm getting static on my back side

Hmmm, now you mention it, it could well be the same for me, will have to try and take note when it happens.
