K03/s hybrid quick question

Kinda planning ahead here but I was wondering... I have changed my K03 turbo for a K03s about 10 months ago and still have the old turbo. If i sent the old K03 off to a turbo specialist for hybridising, it wouldnt be any different to sending the k03s off right? both essentially being the same turbo other than the internals. Also, does it matter on the condition of the turbo?

Any help would be great

doesn't matter if it's ako3 or ko3S that's sent to be hybrid'd mate, as they change both the compressor and turbine wheels

So long as the exhaust housing is fairly free of cracks, then you're good to go!
