k03-hybrid???

i have been searching for a while for a k03s turbo to upgrade my k03, they seem to be pretty hard to find for a decent price!! the odd 1 or 2 i have found have been over the £300 mark.
so was wondering if it would be a better/cheaper option to buy an old ko3 unit for less than £100 and then send it to get its internals upgraded to k03s/ko4 (hybrid)??
would this be a good idea and does anyone know a rough cost of getting the job done??

When i contacted bill at badger5 about this i got quoted between £695-£795 depending on condition, exchange. +vat

Then plus, rods, hoses, injectors etc etc never a cheap option

k03 hybrid is borderline needing rods.. its a 250-260bhp turbo.. std rods on sensible tune should be fine
