There quite common esp in rural Canada. Some trappers & moose spotters use them too.

Unbolt wheels, bolt on track setup. Also chassis mounted snow ploughs for full size 5 1/2 ton pick ups are a thing too.

Im some ways we us Brits miss out on some cool automotive stuff lol
