just bought an s3 :-) couple of slight issues

hi guys just got my s3 and am really enjoying it so far its not my first turbo i used to run a vag 1.8t 20v which i loved. the only thing at the mo is sometimes it idles just under 2k then brings itself back down, ive read it coukd be a vac leak somewhere just wondering if there any vac lines that are prone to splitting, also another issue is the clutch seems really long.., is there anyway to adjust? thanks tommy
