Why does the votex kit seem to be overlapping the oem bumper.

the whole votex kit is simply glued onto the original bumpers etc

It's just the way they are. I remember a member J7USS had a little go at making them sit more flush.

im thinking of the votex route as at the end of the day my a4 was not a sline out of the factory.

There was a guy on here from overseas (maybe SA or Portugal?) who cut the Votex skirts into the bumpers properly, looked fantastic. Give me time and I'll try and find the thread.

i'm going to be pulling my votex front end off in the next 2 weeks (weather permitting). somebody has had a go at a repair on it in the past and bodged it up!! gonna take the front end off and spend some time trying to make it look a little nicer than what it is now...
