Issues with connected services

(copied from a Facebook post I made to an A3 e-tron group I have been having issues with the connected services of my car again now ongoing for 3 years, unable to set the preconditioning and general app functionality issues ... )


I am now absolutely fed up with Audi’s attitude to customer suport. Not even an apology again for breaking the functionality of our cars !

Has anyone had any success with any form of compensation ?

The car was sold heavily with these connected services. There has been issues ever since I bought the car. The removal of Google maps, is really disappointing too as this was one of the things the salesman showed me on the Virtual cockpit to highlight the level of technology in the car.

I wonder if they ever actually test their updates with our cars or just push them out and wait for the complaints !

Yes I’ve had similar problems since they installed a s/w update no support what so ever
I have since regretfully sold my Etron Due to further on costs over and above what I would tolerate ( cam belt and dsg oil changes costing about 20% more than normal aspirated cars, even going to independent garages prices were the same?!@ ) was told it was because they had to employ a HV technician!!??? Once you isolate the battery pack then it’s isolated and safe??

Driving me mad, how useless they are with it, this new myAudi app has been out 3 years !

I haven’t noticed being charged anymore, your right about the HV technicians and bays but they are becoming a lot more common as the range has mor hybrids in it . The batteries can be quite dangerous and a single large heavy components so they have special lifts etc.

I’m not in a situation where I can sell at the moment, would of bought a Model 3 to replace it if my whole industry hadn’t disappeared overnight in March ! Glad I didn’t as I am no living off the money !
