May have found my new motor

its a 2008 sline sport back 58k on the clock DRL's and full leather its a p3 its black ( mmmmmm p3) up for 12.5k

agains my sport i am looking at 5k to swap they have offered me 7.5k for mine to trade

waiting to put money down what you think

I'd probably go view it as they are not the best quality photos. If it has full service history and every thing checks out fine get it.
Bare in mind in 2k you will need to get the waterpump and cambelt changed. Every 60k or 4years i think which ever one comes first.
Can you put a small deposit on it till you can view it?

hi mate they want about 7 hundred deposit. he wants 5.1k i am trying to get it for 5k waiting on a phone call. already got him down down from 5.5k. its having its first major servise now ( they have said they will do it as for cam belt i didnt think it was untill 70k) **** ill have to see what the score is with that. ?

Yeah try and get it for £5k. I'm pretty sure its 60k but im sure the other guys will confirm or it may be different with petrol and diesel?
Does it come with full audi service history already? Or just full service history. If its full audi i'd probably ask them to pay audi or take it off the price. Anyway let us know the outcome and good luck:thumbsup:

Nally, go online and see what yours is fetching and pick the average price.... then deduct this from his screen price and bear in mind he'll have anything from £1k to £1500k profit in his car.... minus the service costs probably.....then find the cost of the car your buying

simple maths mate with a little bit of research and you'll see if its a good deal or not....id look for ya but i cant be *****

hi boys update is deposit paid cambelt and waterpump getting done couldnt get him to 5k its 5.1k but i can sell my car in the mean time it wont affect sale. i am pretty happy price seems fair done a bit of reseach.

to be honest i only want a tdi.

picking it up on 14th its awaiting prep. so if I sell mine for more than 7.5 that will be sweet the deposit is subject to test drive but its 200 miles away so hopfully not a waisted jurney. might put mine on piston heads its just on here, gumtree, and autotrader. its a bit more money than I wanted to spend but most of the really good p2,s are going for about 12k. if anyone knows anyone after a 3door I am looking at taking offers 8k ovno. cheers all nally

i have seen videos on youtube of road cars on test tracks and it looks like the rear light (flicker) is this just a camera trick or is this a safety setting you can see an example on this video below from 14 seconds in. the drl's look like they ( flicker/ flash) is this in race mode or just a funny camera fault in the way the light is captured.?

No, they're factory fit mate. They are the same principle, but work properly with the car.
You can change to bulb colour temperature. IIRC they come with 4600k so you could go bluer if you want.

My car is going great, got an S3 chrome grill and H+R spacers coming this week, it hasn't got Sat nav.....yet

car was supposed to come in today so i can book time of work to pick the car up.
called the garage and they said " the buyer rejected the car" before i had a chance to say anything he said" its ok i have found you another one with 1k more on, ill send you the pics now"

checked my emails

its a F@£king 8p2 i can get one of them for 10k.

called him back and i am not proud to say i lost my cool. " well you have have been more anoyed if the car wasnt right" then i really seen red (he made it sound like they had the car when i put a deposit in it and it was waiting to be transported).
it evan says the reg on my reciept

"ill call the buyer now but you wont get a responce tonight (5.30pm)"

i am so angry, and i am pretty sure this is illeagle.
