Ipod options for basic Chorus stereo (57 reg)

Hi, please can people advise on what I need to do to be able to add ipod connectivity to the headset- I am totally confused as to what fits this head unit. I have an Audi Chorus double DIN, no steering wheel controls. The car I have is an A3 1.9tdi special edition - which I think must mean literally no optional extras. There is no multichanger in the glovebox or anything.

I am rubbish with technology, I don't know if a simple AUX cable will do or if it needs to be something like a dension - which I have no idea which model I need. I'm happy to go with second hand if anyone can point me in the right direction. Thanks

i have a symphony 2 for sale with an ipod 3/3g cradle to fit in armrest for sale at a reasonable price i know you can get a cradle for more modern iphone but you would need to search forum for advice on this . you would need to get someone to fix up the wiring for the cradle unless that is already install at the back off ur unit.
