Just wanted to put some feelers out here...

Had my S5 for about 2 months now and still absolutely loving it, however I can't seem to get my iPod working with it. I have an iPod classic and a nano 2nd edition. Both of them worked in my 2015 S3 using the proper AMI cable. I was told it was a simple plug and play to the USBs that are in the S5 but no luck so far.

Has anyone else encountered this?

There's a few people saying that the iPods might need to have their firmware updated to the latest version to work and others saying that the iPods don't always work in the A5/S5 as it is running the latest software and isn't backwards compatible.

I'd check the iPods first to see if they are running the latest software then see what happens.

I have 2 ipod classics and neither are recognised by the car. I don't think ipods are supported fullstop. both running latest firmware.
