Missed this on the build - anyone know if the dealer offers this retrofit and if so at what cost?

Cheers.

Guys, yes it can be done, not cheap mind as all four doors need lights in the bottom of them plus the other wiring etc.

I believe Stoke Audi may give you a price for this...if you phone them ask for Adrian or Chris in Service and tell them Wayne has put you on to them, i'm sure they can help or find out for you.

If you just want the new interior light with the ambient red lighting and map lights, then this is a straight swap. I fitted it to mine, it cost £80 from Audi. I've got the part number for the dark headlining coloured light unit if required.

Tbh I really like the footwell lights to be a bit yellow - it gives a softer ambient light that is not as stark or harsh as white led's look inside the car..... All this white interior lighting trend just looks a bit aftermarket to me (OEM ftw lol)

They can be retro fitted by the dealer at a cost.

why not buy the looms and lamps from Robin A3, fit them yourself and find a local VCDS user to code them up for you for bear money?

take a look at this - http://www.audi-sport.net/vb/new-a3...diy-guide-retro-fitting-foot-well-lights.html

http://www.audi-sport.net/vb/new-a3-s3-sportback-8p-chassis/58244-my-diy-guide-retro-fitting-puddle-lights.html

you will find the info there on the retro fits for doors and footwell. i have done a few now myself for a few members,

even worked with robin to make these up for those cars that have the light pack - http://www.audi-sport.net/vb/new-a3...144413-rear-footwell-light-retro-fit-kit.html

The Looms are the same as OEM if not alot better, easy to work with and with the guides he has produced you cant go wrong buying them and installing them to your car.
