interior light not working when opening passenger door

Hi guys, after just fitting a connect 2 adaptor to my head unit, it was all working perfect then I heard a slight cluck sound and my interior light now won't come on when I open the passenger door, but will come on if I turn it on or open driver door... (not sure if theres anything else not working)... could this be a blown fuse or something as simple or?.. cheers in advance!

Update: light will come on when I shut the door to the first catch..

Faulty micro switch/lock, replace it/lube it up and that will fix it

By micro switch/lock do you mean the mechanism in the door?

yes the micro switch is in the lock mechanism. try to lube it if that doesn't work it will more than likely need replacing.

As above also scan with VCDS for any fault code relating to the door
