Interior Light Mods

Hi all - I have been searching around the forum for a while looking for the interior light mods. I have a 2010 S3 3 door without the interior light pack and have decided I want to retrofit.

RobinA3 has helped out with the retrofit guides and he also manufactures the leads. Can somebody tell me exactly what is in the interior light pack? I will start off and please correct me if I am wrong -

• Map reading lights
• Footwell lights
• Puddle lights in doors
• Small cab light (possibly in the map reading light fixture above?)
• Small light underneath the climate control (?)

I also would like to know how to swap the non map reading light kit for the map reading version - i.e. part no., fitting guide if necessary?

I have the interior light pack on mine. There are also the red lights on the inside door handles just above it.

Hi,

I spec'd the interior light pack and have the following as standard ...

Front central dome light with twin map lights near the rear view mirror.
His n hers illumination above the sunvisor vanity mirrors.
Illuminated glovebox.
Front footwells.
Red marker lights on all four doors.
Puddle lights on all four doors
Twin reading lights in headlining above middle rear seat.
Boot light on left hand side.
Red LED mood lighting in all four interior door handles.
Red LED mood light in front central dome housing which illuminates gearstick.
Red LED mood light in front ashtray.

In addition as an upgrade to these I have rear footwell lights & right hand boot light from RobinA3.

All OEM white lights are now white LED's C/O Trups.

When I unlock the car / open a door / remove key from ignition all lights illuminate, unless I turn them off via central dome switch and then only the four footwell / puddle lights illuminate. I find very useful when my baby girl is sleeping in the back so I don't startle her with the roof lights.

Thanks Heli - that looks awesome with the white LEDs.

Can anybody tell me the correct part no. for the replacement light switch in the roof with the map reading lights?

I have found 8E0 947 135 D - is this correct? And is this just a direct plug and play exchange?
