Interior LEDS

Thinking of changing my interior map reading/central lights to red LEDS so as not to blind me at night, also wondered if there is anywhere out there or anyway of getting some red LEDS to always stay on like submarine lighting.
Found this and wondered if anyone knew about an option for ambient lighting on the b7? can you or could you get it?

That ebay link is for whats known as "Ambient lighting" - it's quite a popular mod. VAGparts used to sell the oem leds which clipped into the courtesy light. Then all you had to do is drill the holes (which were premarked) in the light housing.

THESE are the Audi ones.

There are lots of posts in here on it, and a fitting guide too somewhere.

You can create your own by using some std led's with resistors, or pre wired 12v versions.

I did this as I wanted mine in Blue

As for swapping the other lighting - it's just a case of buying the right size/colour led's from somewhere like www.ultraleds.co.uk
