Has anyone fitted a intercooler with fog lights in place to a A3 1.8t there is less space behind the bumper than s3

...thanks

I have got the intercooler fitted with fogs but had to lose the surrounds. The fmic is very tight there as A3 bumpers curve round more than on the S3...

i managed to get mine to fit pretty well instead of clamping silicone to the cooler, extended the inlets and outs at an angle

:o.k:

Looks sweet,if you get silicone coming off the cooler you can push it so the bumper goes on.with the pipes that come with the kit,its not so easy....

ive fitted a massive 88mm wide cooler and had to lose the lower grill and fog surrounds but the fogs are still there and working spot on :)

cheers mines mounted think i need to extend the intercooler ends iv already cut off tow hooks and replacing with a strap need to kick in passenger side maybe move the horns. the only advanage i have is my car has no aircon as its never hot here lol i can sink the cooler further back and trim some of the plastic panel for pipes to run aside

ill get some pictures up

I'm only round te corner, might swing by to have a look mate. Might end up having you do mine if it looks better haha

i saw your car the other day lol i have more space behind there due to no A/C anymore

well moved the intercooler as far back to the radiator as possible. passenger side wich is in 2" pipe work i have plenty of space on the drivers 2.5" piping its tight due to dump valve and map sensor adaptor need to kick it in at a 90 then should get fog light and all grills in etc :) that side will be welded joints to save space
