just got home to a letter saying i've been speeding. thought for a moment my lovely new Dynamik had enticed me into evil, but then i see it's from Sussex police...and the reg of my old car.
i'm pretty annoyed, TBH, i have a letter from the DVLA dated 14 Nov, stating they acknowledge i'm not the owner, so how come the cops don't have the same info? that implies they're using a database that's at least 2 months out of date.

.Its DVLAs fault for not updating their records which the Police National Computer uses to display onwer details.

cheers johnny - it seems DVLA sent the message but didn't actually amend their records then. that's a bit naughty of them.

Reply to the NIP stating you didn't own the vehical at the time of the offence and enclose a copy (not original) of the DVLA letter. It will go away
