Hi, I would like to ask is it a necessary for upgrade intake system on a stage 2 tuned ECU?

From everything I've watched and read regarding tuning stages, I would expect you would need to upgrade the intake for stage 2 tuning, as you are also freeing up the flow at the exhaust side and would need the increased intake flow for this to work. Stage 2 benefits from intake, intercooler, down pipe and exhaust upgrades. Not doing one of these would reduce the effectiveness of the tune... as far as I can see..
Something like the cts or turbo technics intake pipe along with something like the revo or vwr intake is what I would do especially going stage 2.
